There's an app for that

***EDIT/REVISION-I put captions on the pics***
Last year, when I made a goal of blogging regularly, I checked for a blogger app so I could write quick updates and post pics from my phone. To my disappointment, they DIDN'T HAVE AN APP!! Whaaaa?! Fast forward to NOW, I check again...lo and behold, they've moved into the 21st century! So...this is my very first post from my phone. Instead of the next installment of "catching up", this is just a post full of some of my favorite iPhone pictures! They are in no particular order, and I haven't figured out exactly how to put captions or descriptions on them yet, so you can use your imagination. Besides, most are self explanatory. The first one is Koda coming across the finish line of his very first race last fall-an entire mile (which probably seemed like a marathon to him!). Oh, and the one of Brady crying...well, he insisted on having a "crybaby" gumball just like his brother. He was not too pleased!
Koda crossing the finish line of his first race last fall-an ENTIRE mile (can you hear the sarcasm in my "voice"?!) For someone who complains 2 minutes into a family walk, a one mile run was a big challenge for him!

Kylee LOVING the ribs at Famous Daves BBQ in Arizona last month (March).
George and Koda snowboarding in November
Kylee and her "little" cousin, Colt, checkin each other out in March
An instagram pic of brady helping me make a cake in the kitchen! He's the best little helper ever when it comes to baking. Of course, he's a grade-A taste tester as well.
Koda after his first time placing this year at a wrestling tournament! So far this season, he's brought home two 3rd place and two 2nd place medals! AND...BOTH of his 2nd place's were lost to 1st by ONLY ONE POINT! Darnit!
Kylee and her signature "sprig" ponytail. Her hair has since grown a bit more, and it's more curly....and more adorable!
Kylee playing in a fountain at a mall in Arizona in March

Brady insisted on having a "crybaby" gumball like Koda. This is what happened. Not exactly what he expected!
The newest member of the family, Arizona Lulu. George and Koda brought her back from Phoenix in November! She's adorable....and a little stinker.
Kylee just a few days ago...her smile kills me! I think she looks just like a male version of Brady here!

Checkin out the newest XBox game at Best Buy this winter. The kids were all Minions (from Despicable Me) for Halloween last October :)
Kylee on Easter Sunday! I'm pretty much in LOVE with those cowboy boots and that dress!
The boys showing off their muscles on Easter Sunday. When asked why their shirts were off, they said they were "exercising for Easter" ?!

Then in August...

Us the night we DIDN'T get on the boat. Yes, you read right. We booked an overnight (which meant double the limit) halibut charter. And then we showed up and weren't on the manifest, and the boat was completely full! So, they put us up in the beauty of an apartment below for a night, refunded us our money, and took us out the next day for free! I'd say it was a pretty sweet deal!

In reality, one day was plenty! It was a beautiful afternoon!

George with one of his 'butts.

One day, we took a 2 hour rafting trip with the kiddos. They loved the *little* bit of rapids we went through (and which Kylee slept through!). Afterwards, we stopped at this little "lake" to let the kids fish...ie: put their pathetic little poles in the water!

Brady roaming the shore.

We spent an afternoon visiting the wildlife preserve near Portage, and stopped off at Portage Lake afterwards. I say lake, because the glacier is so far retreated that you can't even see it anymore! I remember as a kid that you could just walk up onto the ice!!

We spent a day late August at the State Fair, as usual. Koda could ride more of the big kid rides this year, and we had fun!

In August, my dad had an extra seat in the plane going out to Silver Salmon Creek...aka-bear viewing! George and Brady hopped in and went to check the bears out for the day.

In reality, Brady was more interested in throwing rocks in the water than looking at the bears :)

Sorry they're out of order....but you'll have to deal! This is the fair again!

Even Kylee, who mostly stayed in her carseat, loved the fair.

Brayden with what he calls his "dinosaur hair". I think he thinks it looks like a stegosaurus.

My handsome little Kodabug!

July 2011 pictures....

Brayden LOVES to "help" in the kitchen. And because I'm a decent mom, I turn the beater off before I let him lick them :)
Kylee in what we deemed our "redneck pool" this summer! We have a VERY small patch of grass in front of our shed....and we use it well!
 Brady having a blast!
George even got in the pool with the kiddos. I won't lie-I did too. And yet I'm nice enough to NOT post a picture of me in there :)
We took a day trip to Talkeetna in July. The kids had fun throwing rocks in the river.

WHAT IN THE HECK IS SHE WEARING?! That's some serious Talkeetna garb.

Kissing some baby bunnies!

At the TOP of Flattop!

This would be climbing the last little bit. I had no idea that it was that steep and rocky.....which is why I probably would never go with a baby on the front of me again!

In the beginning....the coolest trees ever! Kids could totally play tag/hide-and-go-seek/etc under them!

Part way up.

This is where we stopped for a quick snack and left my mom.

At the top again!

Believe it or not, Kylee really loved this hike! She even fell asleep for a good portion of it!

August/September/October/November/etc, etc pics to follow!
